I recently decided that I want to write more frequently. I intend to use this site as an ongoing method of documenting of my life; as a journal to occasionally record thoughts, feelings, and aspirations; and as a personal space to explore ideas.
I promised myself that I would not get too hung up on the technical details of this site… I may eventually tweak things here and there to optimize the site, to improve the design and layout, or just to amuse myself. I have a tendancy to get caught up in the features of technology… to explore the workings and limitations of the software. On this occasion I have decided that I want to stay relatively focused on content.
I have several main concentrations that will guide my development of this site:
PRESENT
- Contemporary Ramblings and photos of my life (and the people and places in it)
PAST
- My personal past… events and experiences that have shaped me (including but not limited to work experience).
- Geneaology. A place for me to post and organize the scattered bits of my family history that I have managed to assemble thus far.
FUTURE
- My future… as I progress through life, who do I want to be? What do I use to guide and inform my life choices? How do I set and achieve goals?
